Description:

Silicon carbide bulletproof plate has very good oxidation resistance, excellent abrasion resistance,

high hardness, good thermal stability, it has high strength in high temperature. The very good

compressive strength and fractural strength make it very suitable for making bulletproof armor.

When high-speed bullet hit against silicon carbide ceramic armor, there will form a fracture vertebral body in impact surface, micro carckle appears on the opposite axes side of ceramic impact surface, it is just due to the micro carck extending, to consume the bullet and the guard tile impact energy, to elimit the bullet kinetic energy.

Applications:

Silicon carbide ceramic tile is suitable for making bulletproof armor, using to protect tank, aircraft, vehicle, naval vessel and making bullet-proof vest.
